Terms of service

Last updated October 1st, 2026

Draft — this page is pending legal review and may change before launch.

These terms apply to your use of this website and to quotes and bookings made with CAD Studio Photography. By using the website or booking our services, you agree to them.

Quotes

The online quote generator gives an estimate only. Prices are in Canadian dollars and are calculated from the options you choose, applicable sales tax and travel. Your final price is confirmed by CAD Studio Photography in writing. A quote is valid for the period shown on it.

Travel to destinations beyond our automatic travel range, including outside Canada, is quoted separately.

Bookings and deposits

Submitting a booking request does not reserve your date. Your booking is confirmed once we have accepted it and received your deposit. The deposit amount is shown when you book. We will send payment instructions by email (for example bank transfer or a payment link), or you may pay in cash by arrangement.

Unpaid booking requests may be released after a set period so the date can be offered to others; we will tell you this period when you book.

Changes and cancellations

You can request to reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation email. Our cancellation policy, including how deposits are handled, is provided with your booking.

Delivery of photographs

We deliver edited images through a private online gallery within the timeframe stated for your package. Turnaround times are estimates and may vary during busy periods.

Copyright and use of images

CAD Studio Photography retains copyright in all photographs. Clients receive a licence to use their delivered images for personal use. Commercial clients receive the licence agreed in their booking.

We use photographs in our portfolio, gallery or marketing only with the client's consent.

Reviews

Reviews are moderated before publication. We may decline or remove reviews that are abusive, unlawful, unrelated to our services or posted without consent.

Liability

We take great care with every event. If circumstances beyond our control prevent us from providing a service, our liability is limited to refunding amounts you have paid for that service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
